Cass Balzer is a marketer, freelance journalist, and creative problem-solver based in Chicago, IL. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & English Literature from Lake Forest College and a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Cass currently works as the Senior Manager of B2B Content Marketing at Fetch, America’s Rewards App.

As a freelance journalist, Cass writes features and trend stories for American Libraries Magazine. There, she covers the work of public and academic libraries in advancing equity, access, and community engagement across the United States.

In her free time, Cass is also an amateur ultrarunner and running coach. She holds a Level 1 Coaching certification from the Road Runners Club of America.
